It's me and my guitar for now. I played in another band , which is on an indefinite hiatus from which it may never return, in the meantime, I'm still playing music. It's a release for me. Biochemistry is a stressful major, the guitar keeps me less insane than I otherwise would be.
Things to keep in mind while listening to anything I've written (especially the things with lyrics):
1. I'm hardly normal
2. I am a Christian
3. I writes about my life, and since God is a part of that life, it's bound to come out in my songs
Started playing guitar 2.5 years ago with some aid from the mighty JMH!!. Started playing in a band, Think About It, 2 months after, and started writing songs, some of which we did as a band, some of which I did alone. These are the ones that I do alone.
Play in my room, outside in places @ UMBC. Apparently, I got flashed while playing outside at a barbeque thing...I was completely oblivious
I guess I'm influence by everything I listen to. I listen to
Nick Drake, Phil Keaggy, Bebo Norman, Andrew Peterson, Dave Matthews, Xavier Rudd, Keller Williams, Michael Hedges, Bob Marley, Damien Rice, Neil Finn, Ridgely, Eastmountainsouth, Juluka...lots of people (including the mighty JMH!!!)
Martin D-15 (2002) with an I-beam pickup(L.R. Baggs) and Gigpro preamp (L.R. Baggs). If anyone cares I use Martin SP+ or Elixir Polyweb (both light gauge). I also use Dunlop Tortex picks...the red ones.
The EP is almost finished. One song still needs to be worked over. The whole thing was recorded in my friends dorm room (Thanks Colin). 7 of the 8 songs are now available for download.
