Bio of Screech
Screech was formed in Januari 2003 by four guys from punkbands who had just split up and wanted to play punkrock together. They played songs in the style of NOFX, Lagwagon and Undeclinable.
With their first release "Growing Pains" which was released in the summer of 2003, Screech showed that they were not just another ordinary punkrockband and they underlined that by playing a lot of shows.
Some of these shows were together with three other bands in a package called BS Punkage, which was an immediate regional succes !
After a few home recordings in 2005 Screech decided to continue as a threepiece because of musical differences. With new newfound enthusiasm they entered the studio and the demo "Paranoia" was recorded.
With this demo Screech found their new sound. Punkrock songs with a metal edge. They are infuenced by bands like: Strung out, Rise Against and Propagandhi.

Have you performed in front of an audience?
We are a live band for sure. We love the energy.
Best moment: De Kelder in Breda, a mosh pit from the beginning till the end of our show. And our gig in Hagen Germany.

Our equipment: Gibson SG guitar, Ibanez bass and Pearl drum set.
