Scotty Soul the Soul Scientist is a Hip Hop producer reigning from the sun filled coastline of Durban South Africa. His fresh and unique style of beat making has gained him notoriety within the local hip hop scene in South Africa as well as abroad.
He was first noticed when he one Life Checks Battle of the Years first ever Beat Battle in 2007. He then practically produced 90 percent of Durbans notorious Creamy Ewok Baggends Debut Solo album "Higher Flier for Hire" as well as doing significant production for two of Durban's favourites Black Moss and Jet Wentworth.
Abroad he has produced for artists such as Rasul allah 7 founder of LCOB (Lost Children of Babylon) World Wide, Enterpise of Greece, and Dzick of Poland. For those who don't know of Rasul Allah 7 and LCOB. . .here's some insight. . . The Lost Children of Babylon (LCOB) are a Philadelphia based underground hip-hop group founded by Rasul Allahu in the mid-90s. They first appeared in 1996 on Jedi Mind Tricks "Amber Probe EP". The group is known for their conscious and spiritual style with lyrics influenced by Nuwaubian philosophy, Islam and Nations of the Gods and Earths. They are affiliated with: Jedi Mind Tricks, Killah Priest, The Black Market Militia, The Maccabeez, The Wu-tang Killa Beez and the Sunz of man. The Lost Children of Babylon entered the hiphop-scene in 1996 with an appearance on Jedi Mind Tricks debut the Amber Probe EP. Where they appeared on the song "Communion: The Crop Circle Thesis". They also contributed with verses on four more songs on Jedi Mind Tricks Psycho-social LP: "Chinese Water Torture", "The Three Immortals", "As It Was In The Beginning" and "Books of Blood: The Coming Of Tan".
