Hey!Band/artist history
Well, there's still no band... just me (Kim lets me say that)... which, is Indie Hallway Productions. "Sound Design That Fits".
Been playing guitar, piano and most everything else since about 10 years old. 100% self taught, no lessons... Started playing out at 15 in Southern Ontario... mostly acoustic/piano work... Studied Audio Engineering... Now an Asst.Audio Engineer by trade... but I just love composing/playing/recording.Have you performed in front of an audience?I played throughout Southern Ontario in the 80's and 90's but I generally record at home these days.
Your musical influences
Kind of a mixed bag for me. Early roots in Folk/Acoustic, Jazz, Blues, Punk (played in a thrash band in the 80's) Rock and Roll too, baby! But the folks listened to the classics while I was growing up, y'know... Mozart, Hayden, Boxcar Willie...
I also grew up watching TV... alot of TV. So... Carl Stalling of Warner Bros. fame. That music emotes, over dramatizes... grown-up stuff... for kids.
I enjoy all styles and can write in most genres. Usually custom stuff. You need 60's or 70's... I can do that... 80's... no sweat... full orchestrations... not a problem.What equipment do you use?
