i have had a hard knock life. i have been playing since i used to go into the pawn shop everyday and pluck on the guitars when i was 3, and tap on the keys during church at the same age, or maybe younger. my mother didn't let me have instruments in the house because she hated my father (a professional musician). i met him when i was 17 and we gigged all night. i do what i can, and it sounds pretty good. i can play what ever instrument you give me; just gimmie a week. piano is my first love, then drums, then guitar. but guitar is my main instrument thus far. my voice is my weapon. i write, produce, and record myself most of the time. to hear rough samples of my work, visit myspace.com/kscottmusik. this is so fun, but so serious at the same time :). live, learn, much love.Band/artist history
me...i fired some ppl in my band. the drummer was always "on his way" so. they are their own band, and i am Scottie. they are talented, seasoned musicians, and i am a performer. we met marching in the NSU Spartan Legion band (a premier college marching band). we had a common interest/passion which brought us together about 3 years ago.Have you performed in front of an audience?i do play live. I LOVE IT! the first time i knew this was for me was my biggest performance. i opened up for "Wale" at the NORVA in downtown Norfolk. it was packed and it was awsome. i had a full band that night that projected all that was in my big ass head (physically big that is ;)...:drums, horn section, congas&bongos, keys, a rapper/hype man, and me on guitar! it was bad; not bad meaning bad, but bad meaning GOOD! they thought i was famous. i had groupies OMG they were following me. i was yelling "what are you doing? i'm not famous!?...i'm nobody!" but i sounded stupid. I AM SOMEBODY THOUGH.
