I am a singer-songwriter who writes and performs progressive rock and light rock ballads on piano, keyboards and guitar. I sometimes bring in my wife, friends and former bandmembers to assist with my performances, but with busy schedules amongst us, more often than not these are usually solo performances enhanced with MIDI back-up tracks, which provide a beautiful contrast of a live vocal and guitar or piano over a pre-recorded background.
Band/artist history
Power (3-member - 70's hard rock covers) 1980-1981 Grady Niblo Band (4-member progressive 70's rock covers) 1981-1983 Pyramid (3-member progressive 70's-80's rock covers) 1983-1984 Pyramid II (4-member progressive 70's-80's rock covers plus some original songs of mine) 1984-1985 Cheap Labor (4-member classic rock band in Seattle WA) 1990 Panarchy (3-member progressive 70's-80's rock covers with several of my original songs performed and recorded) 1987-1993; 2008-present Scott Gordon (solo performances - light rock favorites and originals) 1989-Present
