Music so wishes to be heard that it sometimes calls upon some unlikely characters to give it voice. Few are more unlikely than Scott, a reclusive multi-instrumentalist exploring the vast musical landscape, heedless of fad or fashion. Ambient soundscapes and world polyrhythms weave seamlessly around scorching rock riffs, united by the all-pervasive groove.Band/artist history
Been there. Done that. Didn't get paid enough.
High points: High Noon (San Diego, CA), Citizen Grey (Tacoma, WA), Tempest (Fort Wayne, IN), Guitar Circle of Chicago (Chicago, IL).Have you performed in front of an audience?Returning to live performance soon, both as solo artist and various group projects, including the Guitar Circle of DC.
Your musical influences
During my formative years, I was very much into the British metal and progressive stuff - Deep Purple, Yes, Genesis, etc. Later expanded into other realms, but I seem to keep coming back. Ultimately you can't help but be influenced to some degree by everything you hear; sometimes it just mutates before it reveals itself in your work. What equipment do you use?
Primarily Acid 6.0, Cubase SL, Audition, and assorted Native Instruments plug-ins.
