Scharisma
Scharisma is 5 people coming together to achieve something greater than the sum of the parts. We try to be very diverse and artistic with our sound. It is an ever evolveing organism. The music has a rock vibe but travels further than that.If it had to be catorgized (which is shouldnt be) it would be progressive, trancy, atmospheric melodic modern rock. May the music be whatever it wants to be to you, but let it ride through to your soul. There is a light at the end of the tunnel in every song. If your a careful listener you may just hear it and feel it tickle your spine.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Drummer, bass player and vocalist have been together about a year and a half,keyboardist for a year but just got ditched(long story) guitarist since may and possibly a new keyboardist to come. Been playing live with just the 4 piece. (Drums,bass,guitar,vocals)
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Hartford mostly. We love playing live, its what we live for, its why we do it, why else would you be in a band if you couldnt play live? Any moment where there is a smile on anyones faces is a special moment.
Your musical influences
Tool is our biggest influence, their artistry and philosophy on music has done wonders to us in many aspects of our lives. Radiohead, Pink Floyd,Tori Amos,Portishead, Bjork,and A Perfect Circle to name a few others.
