Band/artist history
It started with writing lyrics, and after years of manipulating words to evoke emotion in readers, it grew to much more than words on a page. A whole other world was opened up when my dad bought me a music mixing software, and I discovered the VST synths. That, combined with my keyboard (and low-quality mic) enabled me to express the emotions contained in my lyrics in a whole other spectrum.
Enjoy.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Well I'm workin on that one, I want to have good tracks before I do gigs. Once I move to L.A. I suspect I would venture onto the live music scene.
I do compete in these Japanese singing competitions, where I perform songs by Japanese artists. We'll see how I place this year.
Your musical influences
Jade Valerie, Porcelain and the Tramps, Koda Kumi, Mike Shinoda, Linkin Park, JJ Lin, Marilyn Manson.
What equipment do you use?
Yamaha DGX-305 keyboard, random VST synths I can download, Audjoo is the latest phase. I use them in either Magix Music Maker 10 Deluxe or Sony ACID. Shure SM-48 microphone, Fender Squire (yeah, so what if I'm low-budget), BOSS distorton pedal.
Anything else?
I'll play anything I can get my hands on!
My dream is to own both a Grand Piano and a full size harp.
For now though, I am content with my beautiful keyboard and barely-alive laptop.
