Scarlet Blue are a 4-piece alternative rock/blues/funk/not-really-any-genre-in-particular band from Teddington, Greater London UK.Band/artist history
Scarlet Blue are an alternative rock/funk band from Teddington, Greater London. Our influences range from Red Hot Chili Peppers to the Rolling Stones to Jeff Buckley to The Mars Volta. We are all currently taking AS/A Levels at our respective colleges/sixth forms, so we're like young innit.
Our story's not all that interesting apart from Tom and Ian were born a day apart in the same hospital. As toddlers Tom began jamming on xylophones with Adam. And look where we are now- unfortunately no one plays the xylophone but we are always improving. (We also got Huw in.) We are currently working on a third EP, and gigging on a regular basis when we don't have exams or whatnot.Have you performed in front of an audience? We all love playing live, we've been getting more and more gigs the more serious we get about it.
Your musical influences
We take influence from Red Hot Chili Peppers, Jeff Buckley, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Jane's Addiction, John Frusciante, Muse... the list goes on really. What equipment do you use?
