Scarecrow Messiah - An eclectic approach to hard rock.... Featuring the talents of 4 very creative individuals, each one bringing a unique perspective to our sound.... Our live show is not to be missed....
We'll see you soon...Band/artist history
The band was formed in late 2003 when 3 members of a local "metal" band decided they wanted something "more" from themselves.... Culling material from the two main song writers (and writing several more along the way)spawned our first demos, culminating in our unreleased full-length cd "Vylified". After finding a bassist and drummer to complete the group, they set about playing shows around the area to very appreciative fans...
After a year, some changes were made to the direction, sound, and band members. After writing 8 or 9 more songs, the band found a manager to handle our booking and promo, and are ready to get back to the buisness of bringing our music to the public the best way possible...LIVE MUSIC IS BEST !!!Have you performed in front of an audience?Yes we play live around the local Puget Sound area...Olympia to Everett, WA....This area holds some 13 or 14 clubs we book at (or have so in the past). Our manager sees to it that we keep buzy, and in the public eye...
Your musical influences
We meld clean chorused guitars, dropped tuning metal sounds, choral harmonies, and big "Beatlesque" hooks, into the foundry that is at the core of this groups' heart.
Forged from that is a new (and old) kind of progressively oriented (I did not say prog!!!) hard rock, verging on metal at times, and pop, all at the same time. We can't label it, you shouldn't either...just call it Scarecrow Messiah.
Influence: too many to list: but....
Disturbed, Genisis, Dream Theater, Black Label Society, Korn, Rush, Primus, Guano Apes, Tori Amos, Sting, Megadeth, Metallica, Kings X, Vai, Satriani, Kansas, Queen, Shadows Fall, Opeth, Otep, System of a Down, Chicago, Kiss, REM, ELP,
