Saviour Self is a grunge/punk/alternative rock band from Leamington/Essex County, Ontario, Canada.
St. Padraig (Vocals/guitar) founded the band in November of 2006, but it only really came together in August of 07, with the addition of Mike Trudell on bass. The duo, along with drummer Tim Paty began working hard on St. Padraig's songs, and by September were ready to play a show. After a few canceled shows, due to scheduling errors, Saviour Self finally played their first show on October 12th, and played a second the following week. The band began to record their demo cd at the end of October, but conflicts with Tim eventually forced him to leave the band.
In early December, Dylan Brecka was brought in to replace Tim Paty on the drums, and the trio once again began working on material, re-learning some of the old music, and writing new stuff.
Currently looking for shows and a 2nd guitarist.Have you performed in front of an audience?We have played live, in Windsor Ontario, and we love it.
