saved by grace
SBG is a CHRISTIAN Rock/Blues band from South East Wisconsin. We have been "jamming for Jesus" for over ten years, playing shows from Greenbay, WI to Nashville, TN. Our music is undeniably Christian in content. No watered down Christianity here, just straight forward Jesus lovin' music!
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
MISSION STATEMENT:
"Our mission statement starts with the root phrase of what we are... A Christian - Band! This means we are CHRISTIANS first and foremost and the band is the tool by which we portray the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The main point of an SBG show is not to entertain as much as it is to portray how much fun and excitement is involved in being a Christian. If you happen to walk away feeling entertained, well that's great! But if you walk away from an SBG show with nothing more than a deeper love for our Lord and Savior THEN we have achieved our goal! Don't get me wrong, we can keep an audience up and having a blast but it's when we talk about HIM that the true meaning of what we do and WHO we do it for shines through."

THE TRIVIALITIES:
SBG has state of the art recordings, and a professional light and sound system. We have played all sizes of venues from contemporary church services and coffee houses to fairs and larger auditoriums. We also have a love of good coffee (well, eric is actually more of a Mountain Dew guy) and chips and salsa!
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We play quite a few shows a year, mostly in the WI, IL region but we do travel! We love road trips and the best times are when people talk to us after a show about how our songs or ministry touched a part of their life!
