Savage Syndicate is the foundation for multiple artists, Primal Instinct being the forefront of it. It consists of varying rap and R & B artists, all produced by Volatile(myself) and Menace Productions. Primal Instinct is the center; Volatile raps and produces and Menace handles the executive production, lacing most of the beats on the P.I. and Savage Syndicate albums. We don't consider ourselves to represent one type of hip hop. Our versatility ranges from underground to radio accessibility.
Band/artist history
Menace and Volatile hooked up in highschool in West Orange, New Jersey. They both had a love for hip hop and when Volatile, already a rapper, discovered Menace's talent for production, they got serious and have been makin music since then.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
We've done shows in the past but not enough cuz school has been keepin us busy.
Your musical influences
The influences are too many to list. We listen to all types of music. Menace is strongly influenced by classical music and Volatile moreso by 70s funk. But, along the lines of hip hop, we love mobb deep, wu tang, just like everybody else. Production wise, our strongest influence is noneother than the alchemist, the illest producer out there.
What equipment do you use?
Right now we use computer software to produce but we plan on gettin the mpc soon.
Anything else?
It's not likely you'll find any other groups with this amount skill anywhere else online.
