Sapremia was one of the premier Death Metal acts in the early 1990's, hailing from Southern New Jersey, USA. Touring took us around the United States and our two releases reached the ends of the globe. Now, 10 years later, we are back and ready to do it again. Our first venture is to release "Subconscious Existence", which is a full length, remastered CD featuring all the songs from our two demo releases "Subconscious Rot" in 1992 and "Existence of Torture" in 1994. Sapremia now looks like, Lou Ferrara bass/vocals, Brian Valenti guitar (ex- Mortal Decay), Brian Rulli guitar, and Ryan Hill drums (ex- Malicious Intent). On March 4th, Open Grave Records signed Sapremia to a two album deal, which we graciously signed. The first was our EP "Hollow", which has five newly recorded songs and a bonus of both early demos included on the disc. This came out August 28th, 2007. Our second album is our very first full length, featuring 10 songs, release date of July 29th, 2008. We will be playing as many shows as possible to support our music and Open Grave records.Have you performed in front of an audience?Since January 26th, 2007 we have been an active band once again. We have hit most of the Northeastern US and are looking to do the entire country before it is all done.
Southern Despair Tour August 23-30, 2008 with Zircon. We will be doing a Northern Despair leg later in the year, plus also plans for Canada, Mexico, and Puerto Rico before the year is up!

We are on our third batch for this release. We have been overwhelmed by the amount of people who are still into Sapremia after a long layoff. We have new material and are looking to start playing shows again, as soon as the set is tight.
