I love to create music that is filled with beauty and poetry. I try to craft melodies and lyrics that strike an emotional nerve. I like my songs to come to life in a cinematic, powerful way - changing the mood of the listener or the vibe in a room.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Well I moved from New York where I was studying film. I was just begining to play guitar and sing - kind of developing my style. Then I got a chance to record out in LA. The recording went really well - so I decided to move out here and start playing. Now Im recording my second EP called "The Sleepy Sam Brown EP"
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I love to play live. You can usually catch me at The Derby, The Whiskey, Hotel Cafe... Other places up and down the coast.

Leonard Cohen, Nick Drake, Bob Dylan, The Beatles, The Libertines, Portishead, Cat Stevens, Outkast, Tom Waits, T. Rex... Prince.
