Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Samarah has been singing and playing piano since a young age and performed her first live show fronting a band when she was fifteen. Though her roots lie in rock and indie, she was turned on to electronic music in the late 90's attending local raves. As a solo artist Samarah has been engaging crowds in clubs, cafes and raves with her unique live p.a of ethereal vocals, atmospheric explorations and glitchy beats. Seeing Samarah live is nothing short of a captivating and unforgettable experience.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I play live once or twice a month and love it. My favorite moments are when I get personal comments from the crowd about how my music affected them.

Anything from Aphex Twin, Massive Attack, Billie Holiday to PJ Harvey and the enviroment around me.
