Salazar Death Metal
SDM* is a Death Metal band from southern California that started around the beginning of 2006 with an experimental project that covered from Black Metal all the way to Avante-Garde Whatever called Dod Vocivus. Over the Years Diego and Calvin have produced over a hundred experiments with music starting from the first simple loop track all the way to compositions featuring hundreds of bars of music. Today, they are beginning one of the off-shoots of the project that had been anticipated from day one, the Death Metal project. With inlfuences from Derek Roddy to John Longstreth and Erik Rutan to Shawn Whitaker they have always been inspired by brutal music with avante-garde creative drive behind the onslaught. Overall SDM's current goal is to put out a fun to brutal as hell death metal album that is free of filler and full of gut turning creativity.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Not currently, with the leverage of a full length album due in August 2009 we hope to catch the interest of a drummer and possibly a vocalist. When that happens then maybe we will talk about playing shows.
