Infernal nu disco project from St.Petersburg. Punky or psychobilly disco sound and electric beats songs with a creepy voice and very emotional texts about death, darkness, fears and many bizzare and weird things. Leaded by Serge, guitarist, composer, programmer, and owner of a remarkable vocal, and sided by his wife Tanya in vocals and some compositions.

Band/artist history

Serge Vasiliev (aka Freak) was born in 1978 in a small Russian town called Uckhta in the north east of the European part of Russia. When he was 11 y.o. his grandpa bought him his first guitar.  In 1998 he formed the psychobilly trio "The Freaks' Tricks" that quickly became very popular as a local band and well known in the Russian psychobilly scene. In 2001 he finished an university with grade of architect and moved to St. Petersburg - the cultural metropolis of Russia. In St. Petersburg Serge continued his musical activities in another band called "The Baskerville Katz". During this time his psychobilly trio transformed into a home based studio lo-fi decadent jazzy one man-band. He cuts off samples from XXX & B-Movies and adds them into band’s songs.Featured sometimes by guest musicians, Serge generates his own handmade reality that is worthy of being tasted. Nowdays the sound of Ferris Wheel is kind of  angry spirit of rock-n-roll mixed with gothic dark frame of mind and dropped into disco blood...
