Saint Jude is band of great depth, imagination, and rock creativity. From its humble roots as a quirk-rock band to its blossoming talent of current day, Saint Jude strives to create music of great substance and energy. The group is comprised of Gabriel Ayres(bass), Andrew Dunn(guitar, vocals, piano), and James DeDakis(drums, sax, perc.) Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes. Around Atlanta(Masquerade, Echo Lounge, Earl, etc.) Yes, we try and throw-down wherever possible. We have opened for such acts as Don Caballero, The M's, and Ted Leo/Pharmacists.
Your musical influences
Well, some people say we sound like the Foo Fighters, but none of us listen to them. I like to say we sound like the Who if they were a mid-90's indie rock band. Influences include: Smashing Pumpkins, Beatles, REM, Led Zeppelin, Soul Coughing, Pixies, Wilco, Who, Pere Ubu, Ted Leo, David Bowie, the Kinks etc. etc. etc.
