Started in San Francisco, the Slap Factory Crew has been producing music for the masses to listen to. Concieved by three original members (A-1, DJ Clos and Sac Masta) of the Bay Area based live Hip-Hop Band "Prophet", the Slap Factory aims to produce top notch musical hip-hop beats. Armed with mastery in instruments such as: Bass, Guitar, Drums, Keys, Turntables, Vocals, Drum Machines and Samplers, the Slap Factory draws influences from all genres of music from Jazz, to Funk to Rock, To Hip-Hop. We have added super producer Dana Ericson to the team, and have producers located in San Francsico, Boston and New York City, having worked with such artists as: Insane 1, Sellassie, Haze, George Watsky, Y-Ace, Pluma, Big Tuna and others. The Slap Factory has recently released thier debut producers album, "East Meets West-Bean to the Bay" which draws talent from emcees from the Bay Area to Boston. We are comprised of 4 music producers(A1, DJ Clos, Dana Ericosn and Sac Masta) in order to generate masses of quality slappers. Both Sac Masta and DJ Clos are majoring in audio production at Emerson College and NYU.
