Sabnack is a female-fronted heavy rock band from Osaka, Japan, started in the autumn of 2002. The band contains of vocalist- Memi, bassist- Ippei, guitarist- Kenji and drummer- Pow.
The Sabnack sound is unique, grabbing the crowd's attention with the powerful female lead vocals, backed by everything ranging from Deftones inspired heavy chords and solid beats, to fast paced hardcore that always gets the crowd jumping.
The new Sabnack CD, "Before Dawn" recorded and mixed by Deguchi from M4II studios, was released on November 11th, 2005 by Nasty Records. Sabnack also appears on the compilation CDs, "Utsusemi Sampler" by Utsusemi Music and "Ash Type 2" by Ash Records.
Sabnack has performed over 200 shows in its existence in places such as Osaka, Kobe, Okayama, and other cities in Japan. In 2005, Sabnack had thier first tour in Michigan, the US. In 2006 Sabnack had a short tour in the US again.
Each month, Sabnack headlines and organizes a multi-band group concert called Rendez-vous, held in Osaka, Japan.
Individually, each member of Sabnack is very different, but, brought together by an immense passion to play live, incredible unity is created through this combination of diversity. Each member draws upon a unique background, meshing one another's styles, tastes, and personalities to create the Sabnack sound, which never stops progressing.Have you performed in front of an audience?We always love to play live. usually play in Osaka, Japan.
