Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Anyone who has seen Ryan Daniel perform can tell you that he connects with the crowd. He makes every member of the audience feel like they are the most important person there. It has always been like that, whether he was performing before his fellow classmates in high school or for the thousands of fans during his tour with “Tops in Blue.”
Ryan served as a proud member of the United States Air Force for 9 and a half years. He has been deployed to the Middle East several times to serve in our fight for freedom overseas. While in the service, he was selected to join the elite musical touring group “Tops in Blue.” As a featured vocalist, Ryan performed many solos throughout the show as well as intricate a cappella pieces with the male quartet. Additionally, Ryan performed the demanding choreography required. As a member of this prestigious musical production, presented by the Air Force, Ryan toured all over the world entertaining an estimated 250,000 troops and civilians alike. This opportunity led to him meeting his producer, and “Tops in Blue” music director, Barry Best.
In August of 2005, Ryan left the military to pursue his dream of music. Unlike many artists who take odd jobs at restaurants while waiting for their big break, Ryan stayed with music: he was a karaoke jockey and performed in a local run of Best Little Whore House in Texas.
Ryan cites Garth Brooks as one of his influences and models his performances after Brooks. “When I perform a song, I really get into it; I want the audience to feel what I'm feeling,” says Ryan. “Reaching out to your audience with your voice and your emotions and just being plane buck wild - I think Garth does that better than anyone else!”
Now, in conjunction with Barry Best Productions, Ryan is producing his first country album, Love, Life N Memories. The debut single, “A Silent Movie,” is already available for purchase, with the full album to be released later this year. Don’t be left behind as Ryan realizes his dream.
