rushtonbowen is folk inspired indie rock from the mind of a young man who sees the world as it is, and writes about what he knows it could be. inspiring and depressing at the same time, rushtonbowen will keep you thinking as well as keep you rocking.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
i started writing a while back and now i have a new CD called You Walk but You Concentrate and it has 9 songs on it and they are all very very good, at least to me.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I play live all the time. i mean, what's the point in making music if you never show anybody. i love it. i think i like attention...maybe that's a lie. i don't really know.
Your musical influences
some indie rock acts such as beck, bright eyes, iron and wine, ryan adams...you know. who cares really? i just write what i want to hear other people sing.
What equipment do you use?
me and a guitar. and then i use my unsuspecting friends who can play music to back me up.
