Runway69
Runway 69 is an Entertainment group based in West Africa, but has branches in Ny and Uk. The name Runway 69, basically means taking off from differnt angles...and thats what we did. We make music that we feel from our hearts and what the next person can also appreciate..
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
First its was Runway Records in the 1999 when ambitions where sky high, we did everything possible to get signed to a major label..but it didnt work. So we had to sit down and re-think our strategy, so we decided to start off her in Gh first, get street respect and credibility, then take from there.
So we been at it for sometime now...but the journey's almost over.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
No..not yet..we've done a couple of radio interviews.
Your musical influences
I used to be more of a Rock kinda person, startd to do Linkin park stlye b4 Linkin park..lol...but then I really look up to all these really good producers, Jermaine Durpri, Da Rockwilder, Dark Child, Swizz Beats, Timberland, Scott Storch, Kwame'(GH 4 EVA), Jounide and the list goes on....plus, I'm a serious oldskool freak so dont be surprised when u see me roll up bumping some Sinatra..
What equipment do you use?
Hmmm..well I make most of my beats with FL..I got the new one, FL6xxl, but then I really think Reason is a sick programme, the deck is fully loaded, so it makes modulation really easy..
