RUKUS
With his gritty voice, smooth flow and witty lyrics, RUKUS emerged in the summer of 2004 as a major player on the hip-hop scene. Hailing from San Antonio, Texas, the 22 year old MC reps the 210 to the fullest as evidenced by his highly anticipated release of "The Big Bang Theory". With "Come On" and "Drop" receiving spins in the Houston area and airplay on KVJM 103.1, RUKUS has begun to receive a flood of calls and emails from record label representatives. Look for this talented young star to continue making waves in 2005 as his exposure ventures outside the 3rd coast.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Performing all around Texas, RUKUS has performed and recorded in various locations including Waco, Houston, College Station, Austin and his hometown of San Antonio. In one of his defining moments, RUKUS did a show to open up for Spike Lee's showing of "Bamboozled". The simple words of encouragement given backstage by Spike Lee were "You're tight man...keep doing your thing"
