Rubiphlox
Rubiphlox specialise in meandering vocal melodies over both acoustic and electronic backdrops. Ruth (vocals/flute/keyboards) and Tobi (guitar/audio programmer/producer) are influenced by many sounds and colours from guitar based My Bloody Valentine to the electronics of Bjork.
This studio based duo is more of a side-project for Ruth and Tobi who make 2/3 of the band Human Beings (see www.soundclick.com/humanbeings).Your musical influences

Everything is recorded and mixed at Tobi's North West London Pro Tools studio using a Mix Plus System on a G4 Mac. Using lots of electric and acoustic guitars, the duo also favour synth like the Nord Modular and Oberheim Matrix, using the Akai S3200XL sampler and Pro Tools to create unique and experimental sounds.I'm sooooooo happy to hear/have this music in my life again!!!! I'm beaming with joy!!!!!!
