On this site you find some tracks where i play the drums.I had a habit to record every gig i played,there are 100 tapes in my house of live music nobody knows of. A couple of gigs where so nice that i want to share it. Also a couple of studio dates I did.
Thanx to the musicians where I played with for there input and great preformance.
And some dj mixes i did with the funkiest records from this moment.

Ruben van Roon, alias DJ Kikke, wordt door zijn liefhebbers ook wel als de meester van de vetste grooves getypeerd. Waar of niet waar, feit blijft dat hij bij de live-optredens van Hans Dulfer met zijn felle drumstijl de groove er altijd wel weet in te rammen.Van Roon houdt van afwisseling. Hij is een zeer getalenteerd drummer, maar beheerst ook de electronische beats als een volwaardig instrument en gooit beide moeiteloos door elkaar. Behalve als DJ Kikke, de naam waaronder hij live zijn solo-projecten uitvoert, verzorgt hij ook "de groove" voor beat-formatie Capricorn en "melting pot" The Jazzmeteors. In deze laatste band komt zo'n beetje elke muziekstroming samen: big beats, grunge, dance, jazz, je kan het er allemaal in terughoren.Met The Jazzmeteors bracht hij onlangs de singel "Rot op" uit, met Bob Fosko (o.a. Raggende Manne) op zang, die sinds het optreden van de band op het North Sea Jazzfestival vaste gast is tijdens live-optredens. Misschien geen illustrerend voorbeeld, maar geeft wel aan dat Van Roon geen enkele invloed schuwt.
