RSSR
Welcome to RSSR Headquarters. RSSR is an electropop band that uses analog synth sounds to create danceable pop music.
Band/artist history
RSSR was born out of the ruins of Red Square. After Neil Gauthier left Red Square in Jan. 2003, Josh Kidd took on the project, decided to write new music, and form a new band. After being inspired by new projects of electrop, like Soviet, Josh began writing songs that were danceable, popish, and retro sounding. His goal became to take not only an 80's sound, but also an 80's image. The band also saw the addition of Chris Lundy on Keyboards and Gabriel Mcknight on Guitar and Keyboards. In March 2004, RSSR began shooting a music video to a song titled, "Behind My Face" that will probably be done in July. They are currently looking for a solid strong record company that shares Josh's vision of the future of synthpop once again rising to new heights and dethroning the stagnant, boring music scene of today. In May 2004, Josh fired Chris for trying to steal his clothes.
