sup people. my name is roy but but my performing name is royale. im a hip hop artist and i been rhyming/rapping for about 4 or 5 years. i still consider myself as a amateur because i dont feel my skills are good enough yet. they might never be as good as i want them to be but i always push myself to be better then the next person. anyways im originally from danbury connecticut but living in worcester massachusetts right now. im also trying to get into the process of promoting myself and making a demo.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
not much about my history as a rapper. i usually write lyrics and try to make some songs. i made three so far but threw them out because i didnt think they were up to par with what i expected out of myself.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
i dont really play live. i just been so preoccupied with writing lyrics and stuff that i dont believe i would have time to perform , but if there is a special occasion where i can promote myself i will take that chance up and do what i have to.
Your musical influences
there are so many people that influenced me to get into the hip hop industry. before i started rapping i was singing. michael jackson was probably my first inspiration. i always looked up to him because he could work the crowd so well and he was always on top of his game. i have other influences too but too many to list down.
What equipment do you use?
right now im using my computer as a basic studio set up. its nothing special but when you dont have money you just have to compromise.
Anything else?
i have a dr boss beat machine [dont really use it], a yamaha piano [dont really use that either], and several computer programs that help me put my music together.
