When was the group formed?
Rotten Onez was formed in the year 2001 summer; this is when we all decided to name the group Rotten Onez
What motivated you guys to come together as a group?
To make a long story short Rotten Onez consisted of friends from the same neighborhood Ridgeway also known as Rotten Ridge, they all raped with different groups trying to do their thing and represent where their from. A lot of the members in Rotten Onez also hung out when not rapping with their groups, and were usually found on the front stoup freestyling with the older men that have been doing this for a bit of time (Diego Whiskey, Jugga, Squin, Yung Dread and more).Soon after they started getting together to rap in a local near by studio distancing them selves from their other groups beyond their neighborhood. Months later five consecutive rappers continued to utilize the opportunity of having a local studio that they could at least record at. The time came around when they started recording tracks together that had people under the perceptions that they were a group, so what this five members did was held a meeting and decided on being a group.

Rotten Onez feel they continue to have a major impact on the rap game right now by produce tracks after tracks, with only one mix tape to hit the streets in four years. Give Up Your Goods or Give Up Your Life was a mix tape of Rotten Onez begging.
Rotten Onez performed at NYC on and CD release party for Dirty Rotten, can be found buzzing the internet on such sites as www.hiphopcanada.com , www.spit-online.com, www.projectbounce.com , and www.soundclick.com. You can always catch them on www.rottenonezonline.cjb.net.
Current Projects that Rotten Onez are working is a mix tape for the general public, also
looking to do a couple of shows and host mix tapes. DJ Exclusive and well know DJ is putting out a mix tape My City volume 1 that will be hosted by Rotten Onez coming out soon!!.
Rotten Onez producer Rich Kidd has produced for such artists as Frank and Dank , Aristo , Julie Black and more. Right now look out for the Frank and Dank track on the radio waves called Get Right produced by Rich Kidd
