A long, long time ago... Once upon a time, etc, etc.... Too long a story really, Rosewood in various incarnations have been on the go for approx 10 years (seems like only yesterday the fresh faced original members got together!)
It's been a quick 10 years, with many accomplishments along the way, including touring with British rock legends, Thunder on their UK tour! Not to mention the numerous gigs in the best venues in the Glasgow & Edinburgh area... and some further afield too!
With the introduction of Dez & Dave to the original members; Cello, Chris & Grant, this latest incarnation definatley 'feels' the best!!
From the feedback from all the loyal Rosewooders out there, it seems you all approve too!Have you performed in front of an audience?Rosewood have played in most top venues in Glasgow/Edinburgh areas, including Edinburgh festival, King Tut's Wah Wah Hut, The Venue, Renfrew Ferry, Maggie May's etc,etc.
Rosewood were formed to play live.. that's what we are all about!

Guitar based rock music mainly, though the band are no strangers to everything from Mozart to Motorhead!What equipment do you use?
Cello - Gibson (Semour Duncan Seth Lover pickups), Lowden acoustic guitars, Marshall amplification, Zippo lighters, Ducati motorcycles, Marlboro cigarettes, red wine
Chris - Gibson guitars (Bare Knuckle Pickups), Fender guitars,Fender amplification, numerous fancy stomp boxes.. too many to mention!!
Grant - Fender guitars, Trace Elliot amplification
Dave - Yamaha drums, Honda motorcycles, Zildjian and Sabian Cymbals
Dez - mouth, Jack Daniels, Morgans SpicedAnything else?

The band have been in the studio to remaster 'When The World Stands Up'. The track has been re-recorded and will be released very soon in aid of a very brave little boy fighting for his life in Glasgow's Yorkhill Childrens Hospital. More news to follow on release date, nominated charity, how to buy your copy, etc coming soon!
