Rosemary's Baby (NL)

JIMI HENDRIX MEETS JAMES BROWN
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Rosemary's Baby was formed in July 1993 by three members of Dutch heavy rockers Gin On The Rocks: Gino Taihuttu, R-Yen Meuleman and Geert van Niekerken. The band didn't waste any time and started recording its first album-CD immediately. They finished the recordings within four weeks. The resulting CD Funky Revolution was presented to the public on December 26th 1993. Funky Revolution got a real warm welcome. One of Holland's most prominent musicians, sax-player Hans Dulfer, was so enchanted with Rosemary's Baby he volunteered to play several gigs with them. Great reviews, lots of airplay, many sold-out shows and the first and only pressing of Funky Revolution being sold out within just a few months, finally got them the serious interest of Sony Music. Rosemary's Baby is back in the studio, recording a brand new album-CD that is scheduled for release early 2000. They had a few lineup changes that have resulted in the strongest musical and creative team ever and nothing can stop them now from knocking everybody from his feet.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Since we are currently recording a new album, we do not play live. Not as Rosemary's Baby anyway. Since we do get our vital kick out of being on stage, we meanwhile do play live with our coverband Acoustic Generator and will start touring again with RMB as soon as we possibly can.
