Since Room 101's inception in 2000, the band has mixed thought provoking and at times controversial lyrics with complex musical arrangements and a unique myriad of influences from the grinding grooves of early nineties post-grunge to etheral movements like those of Pink Floyd, King Crimson, and other classic visionaries to modern progressive/experimental stylings of Radiohead and dredg.
In this vision, the band has tried to keep its distance from the plethora of fads, instead, relying on the honesty of their emotions and influences to create the music you hear today.
Their debut album, Evolve.(released in the summer of 2002), combines emotional and technical prowess that rivals their energetic live shows. Room 101 are the storytellers for the next (r)evolution.

Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
We mainly play in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area in Texas, but we've played in East Texas and in California. We'll go anywhere that there is a gig for us.
