Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Ronny G. - Guitar & Vocals
A Chicago native, Ronny spent eight years in Los Angeles where he worked with Guitar Shorty & fronted his own band The Blue Beat Revue. The Revue shared the bill with Doug McCleoo, James Harmon, Coco Montoya and supported blues legend Albert King.
Ronny returned to Chicago in the mid '90's and formed Ronny & the Rockits. His larger than life style is at the forefront that is shaping a new generation of blues artists. Ronny has worked in Chicago supporting blues great Koko Taylor and has performed with Eddie Clearwater, Chris Duarte, and Ronnie Baker Brooks.
When Ronny is not leading his Rockits he can be found playing with Dan Noland, Dawn O'Keefe Williams, The Dooty-Hall Project, and had the honor of performing with the late great Emery Williams Jr. & Slick Willie Crazy.

Your musical influences
Buddy Guy, Muddy Waters, Freddie,Albert & B.B King, The Vaughan Brothers Albert Collins, The Stax Soul Machine of Memphis,ZZ Top and Jimi Hendrix. We are influnced by music that moves us sonically,lyrically or just plain makes ya groove.

Gibson Les Paul's Flying V,Fender Jazz Bass,Telecasters,Stratocasters,Silvertone and,Tiesco Guitars. Fender,Ampeg,Peavey Amps. Ludwig and Pearl Drums.
