Boston based independent singer songwriter released his second EP The Right Reasons on November 10, 2005. This follows up his debut EP, Everything I Could Ever Find, which was released earlier in 2005.
Roni was born in Sydney, Australia, and recently moved from Ann Arbor, Michigan to Cambridge, Massachusetts. In Michigan, Roni sang and played guitar for an acoustic rock band, The Rambling Jacks from 2002 to 2004 and fronted the punk rock band Concrete Dildos prior to that.
Roni’s songs have been played on University of Michigan’s college radio station WCBN 88.3FM and Boston area radio station WATD 95.9 FM. His songs “It's Just Revolution” and “Sweet September” were featured on the soundtracks of two full length BMX movies, “DVM 6.0” and “Ground Zero” respsctively, that were released by Diversion (www.diversionvm.com). In addition, the original 1999 release of “Trippin’ on Lara” reached number one on Soundbuzz (www.soundbuzz.com), an internet radio station, after spending eight weeks on the alternative rock charts.
Currently, Roni plays local venues in Cambridge, Massachusetts and the greater Boston area, and is continuing to write and record songs in view of releasing his first full-length album.
