What's up? This Rock! Thanks for checkin out my web page. I was born and raised in Louisiana, reppin Franklin, S.M.P., (St. Mary Parish)/(Strickly Makin Paper), and I.B.G. (Innocent But Guilty). I got my start in the game in 1997, but now Rock is solo and I'm here to let everybody know what I'm about. On my webpage you will be able to view pictures, sample tracks, and get some history behind my ryhmes. I have a lot of cd's and mixtapes hitting the streets & am currently working on another mixed tape that I will be releasing soon, Louisiana Baby. I hope ya'll enjoy. Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
The only group I performed with was I.B.G. and we started in 1994. It consisted of 3 members, Dub, Bo, and Myself (ROCK). We got with Red Boy Records in 1997, dropped one album, did good locally, didn't get paid so we bounced. That's all she wrote.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, I have performed at Delta Grand in O.P,La, Grant Street, Down Town and The Keg here in Lafayette La and from Houston to Atlanta. Special moments include opening for Lil' Wayne and Lil' John and the East Side Boyz in Columbus, GA. at the Firehouse.
Your musical influences
When I think about what got me started with rappin, I think about Biz Markie (The Vapors). That's not my only influence in life but the first thing that is the first thing that comes to mind when someone ask me who influenced me.
What equipment do you use?
I am in the studio alot, sampling and shit, but I just copped me that Roland Phantom XA and am about to start comin with my own beats, and trust me they will be throwed!!!!!!!!!
Anything else?
Currently I have a few mixed tapes with my nigga D.J. Cold screwin and choppin shit that is in circulation locally. We about to put out some new shit, that's REAL! So be looking cause ROCK and D.J. Cold bout to throw down. FA SHO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
