Hi! My name is Rob Leach. I am a guitar player without a steady gig. So I look for ways to stay motivated. I've signed on here at SoundClick for their hosting capacity and to interact with other musicians and music fans.
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I'm a "one man band" these days. I have played with some good people, on some good stages, but I've played with some creepy people too....
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Off and on. At present, no. I love playing to live audiences. There's been some special moments, but really, I just love to play my guitar.
Your musical influences
As soon as my musical tastes became defined I realised all my hero's were black american musicians. From "Mississippi Fred McDowell" to "Count Basie". I've been hooked on Blues music from the very first "bluenote" that came my way...
What equipment do you use?
I'm pickin' on a Gibson J-100 and a Mexican Strat. Fender 68 Deluxe reissue. Nothing fancy about me...
