Bossman Boland Bossman Boland
This is a tribute song to one of the best College Tennis Coaches of our modern era, Coach Brian "Bossman" Boland, who won 10 National, Electric Team titles at UVA while he was there. This is a sendoff, good luck musical gift to this humble sensation.

This is my camp's new theme song, CTA Get Rockin' (College Tennis Academy). This is a moving, jamband type of song that is intended to fire up our camp's students and coaches! It add's to the electricity of a 26-year old Tennis camp to have big Fun!

I recorded most of my songs with Daniel Giron, a classical and flamenco guitar wizard who now plays rockin' blues guitar with me .
Bands I've perfomed with in the rockin' blues scene are the Albert Castiglia Band, Marcel Anton Band, D.W. Gill & Blues Phantoms, Walker Smith Band,
The Juke Joint Kings(Host Tennis and Blues Band), Willie Lomax/Shaun Brown Band, Loansharks(NY Band), Charlie Chaplin Band(Reggae), Impulse(Reggae) amongst others.
All of my songs are originals and I do all the songwriting. My new CD, entitled "Tennis, Blues and Other news", has a mix of Sports/Tennis songs mixed in with some funky, blues rockers.Have you performed in front of an audience?I do vocals only and usually sing all original songs. I usually make up all of my own lyrics to a song that my performing band will create for me.
One of my most memorable shows was when I sang in front of 4000 people in between the Charlie Chaplain and Ningaman show in Negril, Jamaica back in 1991. Another one was in front of a packed house at Skipperssmokehouse in Tampa, Fl. with their Wednesday night Reggae band, Impulse. Also a two-song performance of my Tennis and Rockin' Blues songs with national recording artist, Albert Castiglia, at an ATP tournament in Sunrise, Fl. in 2007.
There was one great song I sang with the legendary Willie Lomax(over 8 CDs) and Shaun Brown, a local legend on the Hammond B-3 - at the now defunct Smokin' Dog Blues Club in Beautiful Brandon, Fl. in 2006.
Many great times singing with The Juke Joint Kings.
