George Potor and Joe DeCristopher both were raised in New Jersey in the 1950's and 60's, and schooled and settled in Pennsylvania, but they didn't meet until late 1979. Though they played occasionally as a duo, their first excursion as a band was with the ppits, a motley crew of seven (and sometimes more), full of political irreverence and fun. The ppits morphed into a quintet, Veto and the Hitmen, which like the ppits, performed twice on WVIA's Homegrown Music with a bundle of original tunes,

Just old basement tapes. These songs are just old jams, dating from '77-'87, with various friends and very different circumstances. Each one has a little different history. All are good fun, playing with different sounds and toys. None are meant to be published...only archived, now that I have them off of cassette and into the computer.

We are a merseybeat/psychedelic band inspired by great bands of the 1960's. We don't like modern music at all, and style ourselves on the great bands of th The Cymbal Rotations are a merseybeat, psychedelic rock band from England. There sound is clearly inspired by bands of the 60s, particularly The Beatles and The Monkees. Though the band is yet to gain mainstream exposure, they have one album available for sale which is to be released on their independant label later this year (2012).
