Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes. I did random jammings in bars where I go together with my friends for a FEW drinks, in several weddings of family and friends, and company/department events, which by the way were only for free and for the fun of it. A little booze helps to relax the nerves. I only had one shot of paid performance as a solo front act to a then rising mainstream band, Sponge Cola, in one of their provincial bar shows. It had been a pleasure to experience that and they had been successful over the years. I was just lucky to come across one young producer over Yahoo Chat and invited me for that single stint. I then realized the discipline that goes along with going professional and thought that it wasn't what I wanted to do in my future life.
Eventually, it will only just be me singing, no longer confident playing the guitar now with an audience but I keep playing with my hubby as my number 1 fan.
Your musical influences
Jewel Kilcher, most definitely. I also like Allison Krauss for her song, When You Say Nothing At All. Everything else is random selection of songs that ring a bell to my ears back then.
What equipment do you use?
Back in the days, 2000 to 2007, I only had a desktop computer, a computer mic and used Nero 3 application to record. There's another app I used but I completely forgot.
