rob terry
Rob Terry is an inovative new talent, who fuses and blends different aspects of music, to create his own sound and style. Rob does not tend to stay with one style of music, but mixes and matches to his own desire. From techno to chill-out, daft punk to sasha, Rob terry is like a kid in a sweet shop when it comes to making music.
"i make what i want to make simply to listen to it, and want to give it away to those who love the music i make. imagine creating exactly the riff and combinations that you want, and arranging it exactly the way you prefere regardless if it defies convention and is too long or too short or different. that is what i do"
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
Rob Terry is a producer/engineer who has worked in the industry.
Currently unsigned, Rob Terry writes and produces tracks of virtually any style. Covering classical to R&B, traditional japanese and korean music, techno to house, Rob Terry enjoys the freedom to produce any kind or style of music he chooses.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I am a producer and engineer, not a DJ, so i dont perform. However, i have been studying electro acoustic, and can perform. Watch this space.
Your musical influences
daft punk, sasha, mike oldfield, boyd slator(n.ireland DJ) jacqu le cont, aphex twin, and a little free cd called techno dub fest. loving dub step at the moment
What equipment do you use?
reason 3, pro-tools rig and dc2000 mixing desk(old but i love it). dont see the real need for external effects units now, as programs and plug-in's are just as good in my book (and cheaper).
Anything else?
