I love your first song. It's fresh. Nothing cliche about it. "Honesty is the best policy" is well placed. Also, great title for a first song.

Thanks Kingly. I'm so old and unhip I thought you were dissing me, until I looked up "dopest" in the urban dictionary and it said "Dopest definitions: Sickest; coolest; tightest; most awesome" Well I heard some of the tracks on your site and I think it's some of the best I've ever heard in your genre..that's also a complement. You are excellent.

Sweet Marie: on second thought.... Oh wow... didn't even realize it was the same tune as the version on your Cd. Tempo is much different and even the melody doesn't quite sound the same. I wasn't impressed when I heard this version, but then I went back and listened to the men from when version again and liked it a lot. Sometimes song sound best in the nude and sometimes I like them all dressed up. -Heidi

Yep. Hey Yo! was recorded and mixed in about 45 minutes, all first takes...just yesterday in fact. The song itself I wrote in '89 and never played it to anyone.

Very early seventies. Curious about the recording. Is this a recent recording? -Heidi

I like the guitar picking and melody to hindsight. The lyrics are a little vague and not up to your usual standard. It feels like you were hiding something. -

Like the guitar riffs on As usual. Also liked the way you phrased the words "as usual"... the lyrics were a little heavy-handed, but they are offset by the haunting melody and guitar rhthym. Very cool runs. -Heidi

Hi Rob! I appreciate all of your music and I honor your commitment to PASA, the Philadelphia Area Songwriter's Association. You were right about The Firefly, I did really love it! I hope we can sing it together one day! I also hope you will play the fiddle with me on Saturday, 7/14 at the PASA Sing & Swim at my house!

Thanks Heidi! Loved Three Times probably was not the best song to bring to the band since Joan Baez and Patti Smith influences do not complement each other so well. But I'm glad you enjoyed it. I love getting your comments and encourage others to write comments here as well. Keep those nice thoughts coming!
