2006 Memphis Blues Challenge Finalist, Berkshire-based, Robin O’Herin plays both original and traditional American music using bottleneck and fingerstyle guitar and mountain dulcimer. Her music is distinguished by her pounding rhythm and authentic style. Robin specializes in historically rich, often interactive concerts that include original and traditional American music, for schools, libraries and small listening rooms. Her concerts are warm, affirming experiences she shares with the audience. She is currently working on two new CD projects: a country blues/gospel CD and an original blues CD. I play over 75 gigs a year. My favorites were the 2006 Tropea Blues Festival in Italy and the 2005 Resophonic Guitar Festival in the Czech Repulblic--I was the headliner and didn't even realize it until the last day.. The 2006 Memphis Blues Challenge was also a lot of fun.
