Robert Strom
all guitars/bass/vocals by Robert Strom
Tell me about your history? How did you get where you are now?
I began playing guitar at the age of 13. My Dad bought me a beautiful wine red Hondo II Les Paul copy for my birthday, and I fell in love with it.
I played classic/hard rock in garage bands for about 20 years off and on. I also began teaching private and group guitar lessons to students in 1986.
In 2003, Jesus came into my life and He became the center of my universe.
I started singing and playing Christian contemporary songs at church in 2004, and began writing, singing, and playing my own songs live in 2005.
My wife, Cassandra, helps me lead worship with her praise flags, dance, and drama. She is awesome! I am so blessed!
I have worked as a studio session guitarist, recording artist, leader of praise and worship teams, songwriter, and mentor for many musicians and vocalists.
In 2020, I retired from the corporate business world to become a full time musician and guitar instructor.

Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
Yes, hundreds of times.
Your musical influences
Growing up in the 70's, I was influenced by all the Classic Rock greats (Foghat, Ted Nugent, Zeppelin, Heart, Yes, Triumph, Hagar, Travers, Rush).
After my meeting with Jesus, I played guitar on David Paul Strom's "All The Way" project (thanks Dave!) and my musical interests began to morph into Worship and Praise.
What equipment do you use?
Gibson, Fender, Crate, Kramer, Tascam, Samick, Steinberg, Behringer, Vox, DiMarzio, Digitech, Blackstar, Marshall, and more.
Anything else?
I could not be creative and sing and play without the help and support of my beautiful and talented wife, Cassandra.....thank you so much!
