Robert Dubwise has been touring for years with well-known artists from Jamaica and has now decided it's time to come from behind the scenes - giving you his own expressions, ideas & moods from his soul through his Guitar.Have you performed in front of an audience?I play live all the time but usually as a part of Shaggy's band or Jimmy Cliff. I've done gigs on my own which is totally awesome because I get to play my own stuff. I've played all over the world with other bands but with my own thing, only in Jamaica so far. As for special moments - every second on stage is a special moment for me and if I can touch the audience with my performance then it will be a special moment for us all.
Your musical influences
Bob Marley & The Wailers, Jimi Hendrix, Lee Ritenour, Joe Satriani, Al DiMeola. But I think most of all growing up watching and listening to my dad and uncles play together (they had a band, all 5 of them are musicians). What equipment do you use?
I play parker guitars through a Line 6 POD xt & Cry Baby wha with 2 Rolan JC 120s. Sometimes I use my boss pedals(DS1, digital Delay, auto wha, Compressor, chorus)instead of the POD xt, depends on my mood.
