The Ballad of Russell Weston is catchy, amusing, driving tune.  The Last Man captures a slower, deeper mood, highlighted in a brilliant guitar solo and culminating in the chilling "and the last man dies, and no one cares".  The production is as good as any production need be.  I recommend buying the whole album, if you're interested in hearing a talented, lyrically and musically-gifted band.
