I am a new composer... however i have been writing indie pop and rock for years, with ten albums out and very positive press. One day i just decided to try and write a different way... this is the result. It feels good, i just need to make the connections to do something with this style. It feels like it would fit the indie film world very well... we shall see i guess.
Have you performed live in front of an audience? Any special memories?
I have played my pop music solo all over the world, NY city, LA, San Fran, Paris France, but mostly in the NorthWest where i live in Seattle and in Portland.
Your musical influences
mostly people in the pop world inspire me... Jon Brion is my musical hero.
What equipment do you use?
24 track recording console, or my mac with a keyboard and my voice... I have lots of cool mics and preamps, but not on this stuff so much. This stuff is pretty digital.
