Born and raised in Brooklyn, New York but lived in Newark, New Jersey from 12 years old to 17 now Back in New York City. Discovered by his older cousins Well known New England DJ, DJ Therion and Rhode Island Native Hip-Hop Artist Chachi Carvalho, RIZE is of Cape Verdean and St. Lucian Decent Raised by his grandmother. Being from such a diverse and cultural background and living in so many places along the East coast its RIZE's versatility that gives him his sound. though he thrives off of lyrics and great concepts RIZE is still able to make a hit. His first songs were recorded in Pawtucket, Rhode Island alongside DJ Therion and Chachi Carvalho at Beat Box Studio, but now Records with his great friend Elowes the newly signed Columbia/Sony Artist From Brooklyn and California. He is one of the members of the L.I.G Fam(Life Is Good Family) Featured on many tracks of the newly signed Artist upcomin mixtape "Disturbia" Rize is still working on his first upcoming Mixtape "RIZE ABOVE" the Artist continues to have his eyes on the prize and do what he does best........RIZE
