Rising Suns
Rising Sun is four membered band from Jakarta,Indonesia.We play poprock music,we write songs about love,life and how to get thru 'em all with a smile on your face.We wanted to show the world what rising is all about,a brand new start,a brand new taste and a brand new day.We call the members as suns,they are Rio,Rhey/Dave,Gery and Okky.Languages,politics problem wont stop Rising Suns from rising up in the international music scene.Band/artist history
We met on the middle of 2004 around September.We started to play funk,general pop,and even jazz but they just didnt fit our mood,so after searching and jamming all kinds of different music,we discovered that poprock is our musical style,though we play poprock still we always try to add other kinds of music on our songs because we like to invent new kinds of music.We came from different backgrounds and religions,but music united us all and until today we're still a band "Rising Suns".Rhey/Dave is the youngest member and Okky is the oldest one.Have you performed in front of an audience?on every single stage we have played on have their own special moments and we just love every single of them
